The iPhone Guy is not responsible for any loss of data that may occur during diagnostic or repair services.
Customers are solely responsible for backing up all personal data before submitting a device for service.
We strongly recommend performing a full backup prior to any repair.
Customers acknowledge that third-party repairs may void manufacturer warranties, including AppleCare or similar protection plans.
Opening a device during repair may compromise the original factory water-resistance seals.
While technicians take precautions when reassembling devices, The iPhone Guy does not guarantee restoration of the original water-resistance rating after service.
As an independent repair provider, replacement parts used in repairs may include aftermarket, refurbished, OEM-equivalent, or compatible components depending on availability.
Unless explicitly stated in writing, parts used in repairs are not represented as original manufacturer parts.
Devices submitted for repair may contain pre-existing damage or internal defects that are not immediately visible during intake inspection.
The iPhone Guy is not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing conditions including but not limited to:
• liquid damage
• motherboard damage
• prior repair attempts
• internal corrosion
• structural damage
• battery swelling
• component fatigue
Electronic device repairs carry inherent risks due to the compact and delicate design of modern electronics.
Despite best efforts, certain repairs may result in partial or complete device failure.
By submitting a device for repair, the customer acknowledges and accepts these risks.
During the repair process, minor cosmetic imperfections may occur due to the nature of device disassembly, including:
• minor scratches
• small frame marks
• wear from adhesive removal
The iPhone Guy is not responsible for minor cosmetic changes that occur as a necessary part of the repair process.
Certain device features are closely integrated with internal components and may fail during or after repair due to pre-existing damage or manufacturer design limitations.
The iPhone Guy is not responsible for the loss of functionality of components not directly replaced during repair, including but not limited to:
• Face ID
• Touch ID
• True Tone
• fingerprint sensors
• cameras
• microphones
• proximity sensors
• cellular radios
• Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity
These components may fail due to underlying issues that become apparent only after a device is opened or repaired.
Customers may be asked to provide passcodes or unlock access to the device for diagnostic and testing purposes.
If access credentials are not provided, certain device functions may not be fully testable, and The iPhone Guy cannot guarantee full functionality verification.
Technicians will only access device data when necessary for diagnostic or repair purposes.
Some devices require diagnostic evaluation to determine the cause of an issue.
Diagnostic fees may apply and are non-refundable once diagnostic work has begun, regardless of whether the repair is approved.
By submitting a device for service, the customer authorizes The iPhone Guy to perform diagnostic testing and approved repairs on the device.
Customers will be notified of repair costs when possible prior to repair completion.
Repairs may include a limited service warranty covering the specific parts replaced and labor performed.
This warranty does not cover unrelated failures, accidental damage, liquid damage, or customer misuse after repair.
Warranty terms may vary depending on the specific repair.
Devices left unclaimed for more than 30 days after repair completion or notification may be considered abandoned.
The iPhone Guy reserves the right to recycle, dispose of, or sell abandoned devices to recover repair, storage, or administrative costs where permitted by law.
Devices left beyond the pickup notification period may be subject to reasonable storage fees.

By authorizing a repair service, the customer agrees to pay all approved diagnostic and repair charges associated with the device.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
